How does booking work?

- Tell us your nights. Message the concierge with how many days you have and your rough travel dates. Bram’s team replies with the realistic route for that length and both the shared and private prices.
- Pick shared or private. Shared open trips put you with other travelers at the per-person rates above. A private buyout gives you the whole boat from around IDR 10,000,000 per day. We quote both so you can compare.
- Confirm and pre-register. Komodo National Park now requires every passenger to pre-register. Send the reservations team a passport copy showing your photo, plus full name, nationality, and passport number, at least one day before departure. Passport details alone are no longer enough, and without this you can be denied entry.
- Get it in writing. You receive a written invoice with the operator’s registered business details, boat photos on request, and safety-equipment confirmation. Always insist on this — local reports note that some Labuan Bajo boats are not safe, and unusually low prices are a warning sign.
- Pay park fees on the day. The crew collects the full park fee in advance; you typically reimburse in IDR cash on arrival. Spots must be booked and paid before you go, because the park caps visitors at 1,000 per day across the entire area under a February 2026 regulation.
